Betty Duncan

Died: September 10, 2021
We received word that Betty passed away. She had been a member here since 1968 and was very active in church, especially in Women’s Fellowship and attending worship regularly. Betty enjoyed traveling, reading, and her family. Several years ago, she moved to Yakima to be closer to family. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.shawandsons.com.
Ed Wells
Died: September 5, 2021
Member, Liz Wells’ husband, Ed died surrounded in love on Sunday September 5th. Ed & Liz have been a part of the UCUCC community for over 50 years. Ed enjoyed coming to worship with Liz and was very supportive of Liz’s work with us as Chair of the Childcare Board and her work with our restructuring. He will be remember for his goodness, kindness, and honesty towards the community and his family. Please hold Liz and sons Greg and Jeff in your prayers.
Barbara Beuschlein
Born: October 2, 1930
Died: September 5, 2021
Barbara died peacefully early Sunday morning. She had been a member here since 1946. This December would have marked her 75 year of membership. Barbara and her husband, Warren, who preceded her in death, met here at Pilgrim Club, married, and raised their six children in this church. Barbara was a very active member over the years serving on several committees, church council secretary, giver of laughter and wisdom, enjoyed attending Seabeck and Women’s Retreats, attending worship, and Bible Study until a few years ago.
Please hold her children, Lynda (UCUCC member), Bud (Debra), Karl (Barbara Deppe), Irene, Lori (David Tuben), & Lois in your prayers along with three grandchildren and one great grandson born at the end of July. Please also hold extended family in your prayers including her niece Carol (Ed) Coleman and great nephews and nieces Jeremy (Margaret) Swanson and Hillary, Tyler, & Linnea Coleman — all UCUCC church members.
