Do you have questions on how to best prepare for a serious health event, whether a planned one such as a scheduled surgery or an unexpected one such as a heart attack or stroke?
Informed preparation and knowing what to expect can help minimize ill effects and be so beneficial for the patient as well as other family members and close friends. Whether you are the one who is aging in place or a family member, you will find this two part workshop to be a great resource.
Ann Lawrence of Wider Horizons will provide resources and will share anecdotes about the importance and impact of planning for a serious health event. Participants will receive a detailed information pamphlet including a convenient check list plus a Red Folder for storing pertinent documents in a readily accessible file.
The commitment includes a Zoom presentation with Q & A on Sunday, October 11, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Then on Sunday, November 8, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm you will have an opportunity to share your experiences and questions after you have begun to gather pertinent documents and engaged in conversations with friends and family.
