Greetings! Our annual pledge campaign is in full swing this month.
“I am, because we are,” the African idea of Ubuntu, is central to our idea of our church community and how we are asked to work together to risk something big for the sake of something good. Pledges are a big part of how we as a community support each other and the work of our church. Our pledge campaign celebrates the good work that our pledges make possible, and the many ways that our church community has been and continues to be brave.
You should be receiving your 2023 pledge campaign packet in the mail this week. Please look over the materials and at our new Red Wall display to see the good we are doing in the world for our staff, community, and congregation as we celebrate the 70th year in our current building!
Important Dates:
October 9th – Launch Day for our 2022 Pledge Campaign
October TBD – Church Budget and Finance Q & A
October 30 – Pledge Dedication Sunday
November 20 – Annual Meeting and 2023 Budget Approval
We live in challenging times and together have the ability to leverage our collective power to create powerful and meaningful change. We are investing in the future of our community and of our world.
Thank you for being part of this journey!
