We’re continuing our theme of THRESHOLDS, recognizing this time of transition and transformation: racial, environmental, economic, cultural, spiritual. How to leave behind old ways and enter into new ones? How to be with the uncomfortable space of not-yet, the messy middle? Together we’ll engage imagination, spirit, and real-life skills for threshold times.
One Step Forward: Free Movement
Sunday, June 6, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
“Dance like no one is watching.” Experiment with movement that simply feels good to your body. Rene De Los Santos warms up our body-mind connection, turns on the tunes, and invites us to have fun. Welcoming for folks of all abilities, including those who prefer chair dancing!
Summer Solstice Labyrinth Open House
Sunday, June 20, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Saint Mark’s Cathedral, 1245 10th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102
Join a distanced and masked outdoor open house celebrating this ancient spiritual practice. Folks are invited to walk a labyrinth, visit labyrinth activity stations, and to join into a community reflection together at 8:30 pm. We’ll have a number of labyrinths set up, including one accommodating the width of a walker. Hosts will ensure only one household is on a labyrinth at a time. Bring a mask, journal, a patient attitude, and join us for reflective time together in community. RSVP’s requested to assure safe numbers.
