We are so lucky in this church to have generous donors to do our work in the world! And—there are always ways to be more efficient in our spending…
One of those niggling expenditures that adds up over time is credit card and other bank fees. We recently looked at the totals, and we are spending well over $1,000 per month on these fees! Wouldn’t it be great to reduce that number significantly—perhaps spend it on something more meaningful?
Here’s the goal—we’d like to get as many people as possible to change the way they are giving—with a simple adjustment in your MyUCUCC automatic giving. Here are two ways you can reduce your costs:
- Donate using your bank account, rather than a credit card—reducing your fee by more than 75% (even more for AMEX users!)
- Donate less frequently—quarterly rather than monthly—or even annually.
