Our July special offering supports the North Helpline Food Bank and the Emergency Feeding Program. In King County, one in six children faces a summer of hunger. Food prices are surging, and the government has withdrawn the $200 monthly pandemic allowance for food. North Helpline Food Bank faces increased need as well as rising food prices. For many families, the food bank is a lifeline. The Emergency Feeding Program places a two-day pack of six balanced meals at city service agencies where people come for help with urgent problems. Food packs are specialized, including low sugar, low salt, Asian, Latino, Eritrean, liquid, no cook, teen, and a seven-day Infant Pack. Your gift to this special offering will restore our Hunger Outreach Fund so we can continue to support these two hard-working programs. Thank you for giving!
Please give online, or, send a check to UCUCC, noting on the memo line “July Special Offering.”
