Sign up in the Narthex on January 8, 15 or 22 or on-line (link in weekly email)
Mix-Sups are a UCUCC tradition where you have the opportunity to make new connections, as well as strengthen connections with folks you already know! You just sign up and will be assigned into random groups to meet to share an evening of food and conversation. One person or couple in the group will host and others bring assigned parts of the meal. The goal for these gatherings is to provide an opportunity for conversation that goes deeper than might happen at coffee hour!
This year, we are cautiously returning to the tradition of sharing food together in one another’s homes, and we’ve added a new twist. Participants will be “mixed up” into small groups to spend an evening together in February and again with the same group in March (dates are determined by the group). A second round of mixing will provide another pair of gatherings in April and May.
What will we do about Covid, RSV and flu safety? We’ll provide guidance in late January based on our task force recommendations, to be published along with the Mix-Sups schedule. If there is sufficient interest, we would be happy to offer an option for some gatherings at UCUCC in a well-ventilated space, with or without food.
If you are interested in helping to shape these gatherings, please contact Carol Coleman or Mary Sue Galvin.
