New hours for 2022
Thursday, 5:30 – 8:30 pm
Friday, noon – 6 pm (no lunch)
Saturday, 9:30 am – 1 pm
Our amazing rummage, collectibles, and plant sale, a recycling extravaganza called Superfluity will be held Thursday – Saturday, April 21-23. Finally, we will meet again to rekindle friendships, make new connections and recycle stuff to keep usable items out of the local landfill. All proceeds from the sale benefit non-profit organizations.
We are taking donations of items in good condition through April 16. In fact, now is a really important time for you bring them in. You can bring donations to room 133 or leave on the carts in the north end hallway on Sunday mornings, and on Tuesdays and Fridays between 11 am and 5 pm when the office is open.
Please make a special effort this year to sort through closets, attics, basements, garages and wherever you store all your “superfluous” stuff. Because volunteer help for this sale has been waning, this may be our last sale! So help us make it our best ever! If we can generate enough new volunteer help this year, we are hopeful that we can continue the sale into the future. Volunteering does not have to be a huge time commitment. If you are interested, email Mary Sue Galvin at superfluity@universityucc.org.
As you sort through items to contribute, make sure your donations are in great shape. Would you re-gift this item to someone close to you? If yes, it will be a welcome donation. If not, recycle or give to Goodwill.
