Girls & Boys Retreats
It’s time again for our annual Girls & Boys Retreats. These will happen digitally. We will gather Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening (then a break for the afternoon and early evening) and possibly Sunday morning. Depending on the state of things, we might offer an option for an in-person meet-up at church, but we’ll see. More details to come in the Youth Ministry Newsletters.
We are working on a few other event ideas for March & April. Be sure to read the weekly emails for more details.
April Mystery Ministry Pals
Open to Children & Youth—Sign up by March 24
Since November, the Youth Ministry program has been offering a fun ministry of care, called “Mystery Ministry Pals.” Last month, we teamed with the Children’s Ministry program to offer this for younger families as well. Families with kids, newborn to 5th grade, are invited to participate!
Mystery Ministry Pals is an opt-in way to connect that we’re running each month. It’s a bit like secret Santa. You will sign up to say you want to do this. Then we will assign each of you a “mystery ministry pal” – another child/youth. You wouldn’t tell them you’re assigned to them. Then sometime within the month, you’d drop off or mail a little care package of some sort to their house. You would also receive a gift from a mystery ministry pal too. The younger kids will give to each other, and the youth will give to each other. It’s a fun way to expand this fun ministry of care for each other. It’s a fun way to connect with each other and offer some support.
